Sea Food Cooking Seminar

The Halifax Sport Fishing Club will be kicking off the 2014 Seminar Series with what has become a tradition for the club. On Thursday, January 16, 2014 we will once again welcome Chef Slavek Vesely from Down The Hatch restaurant in Ponce Inlet. Down The Hatch is a large supporter of the club and a major sponsor of our fishing tournaments. This will be the seventh year for this highly anticipated seafood cooking seminar.

Chef Slavek has been with the "Hatch" for 14 years and became head chef and kitchen manager 8 years ago. Chef Vesely is originally from the Czech Republic and received his culinary training in Italy.

This presentation will include a discussion and demonstration of various techniques for preparing and grilling seafood. Once again we will have the club charcoal grill fired up and will be offering samples. The fishing clubs new Bluewater Seafood Seasoning will be available for sale also.

All HSFC seminars are FREE and open to the public. Brief business meeting at 7:00 PM, seminar at 7:30 PM. All meetings are held at the Riverside Pavilion at 3431 So. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL. NO RSVP REQUIRED
